I have a diverse background in education. My journey has taken me from teaching in the classroom to working in ed tech, administration, and communications. This varied experience gives me a unique perspective as a UX designer, especially since I'm accustomed to ensuring that everyone’s needs are considered when designing curriculum. In education, I focused on removing barriers to learning by using a variety of teaching methods, giving all students equal opportunities to succeed. This approach, grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), translates seamlessly into UX design, where I strive to create flexible, user-centered experiences that can be adapted to individual user strengths and needs.

I’ve always had a desire to do creative work, but I never quite felt “creative enough.” UX design provides the perfect balance, allowing me to blend creativity with the confidence that comes from research-backed design decisions. My education background informs my UX practice, helping me design with empathy, inclusivity, and a focus on user success.
