About Me

Discover (Who I Am)

Hi, I’m Kathleen, a UX designer with a background in education. For over five years, I have worked as an educator in the classroom to admin to working in the ed tech space, but I always had an interest in design and problem-solving. That passion led me to make one of the hardest decisions of my career, transitioning into UX design.

Define (What I do & What I Want)

I specialize in Information Architecture and Content Strategy, ensuring that digital content is structured in a way that improves usability, navigation, and findability.

Develop (How I Work & Grow)

How I develop my designs:

  • Conduct user research and heuristic/competitive analyses to understand pain points.

  • Use wireframes and prototypes to test interactions before visual design.

  • Iterate based on user feedback to improve usability.

Lately, I’ve been honing my:

  • UI Design Skills – Improving my ability to craft visually appealing, high-quality interfaces.

  • Data-Driven UX – Learning how to leverage analytics to inform design decisions.

  • Prototyping – Creating more interactive and dynamic user flows in Figma.
